The Lattiz by FrieslandCampina: a revolutionary milk frothing machine which makes it possible to create genuine barista-style cappuccino in seconds, simply by pushing a button. ‘The varying quality of cappuccinos and latte macchiatos that you sometimes find in the hospitality industry were the reason for us to develop a machine that combines a high quality milk foam with a high quantity’, says Wiebe van Druten, project manager Innovations at FrieslandCampina. ‘This machine has only six buttons. With these buttons, every member of catering staff and every barista can make a good quality cappuccino, latte macchiato or cafe au lait per cup. And at a speed of six cups per minute!’

COMPACT AND STURDY DESIGN

The simplicity is not just in the use, but also in the design. The sleek appearance of the Lattiz is compact and sturdily shaped, with only six buttons. Using these buttons, every member of the catering staff and every barista can make a cappuccino, latte macchiato or cafe au lait with each button. You can also tap a half-full or full pot, and with the + button you can tap a variable amount. The capacity serving measure of the different buttons can be adjusted to the size of your tableware.

BAG-IN-BOX FOR ADDED CONVENIENCE

With the 4 litre bag-in-box, you can make 140 cappuccinos. The Lattiz milk features an ideal composition of protein and fat for constant high-end barista quality. With the bag-in-box system, the milk has a shelf life of seven days in the machine, unrefrigerated. Because the milk and the product don't come into contact with each other, you're always guaranteed optimal hygiene and no extra cleaning. All parts that come into contact with milk are disposed of together with the box after use.

SUSTAINABLE COFFEE: MILK FOAM TOO

At Hesselink Koffie we see to it that the production of our coffee is as sustainable as possible. That's why we believe it is important that not only the coffee, but also the additional products related to coffee are sustainable. The Lattiz fits in well with the ideal to produce sustainable coffee. The machine is very economical in use and has an A++ energy label. Use of the Lattiz also produces less waste than other milk frothing methods, because less packaging is used. With a bag-in-box, 140 cappuccinos can be made, saving on packaging, waste, transport and CO2 emissions.
